Rikuvo Studio — Terms of Service

Draft for founder review — not yet lawyer-reviewed. Effective date: to be set when published.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Kareem Kader, an individual doing business as Rikuvo, 25 Watch Hill Drive, East Greenwich, Rhode Island 02818, United States ("Rikuvo", "we", "us"). They govern your use of Rikuvo Studio — the hosted dashboard at studio.rikuvo.us.com, the dedicated server we provision for you, the build engine that runs on it, and everything else we provide under your subscription (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, paying for a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company, and "you" means the company.

1. What Rikuvo Studio is

Rikuvo Studio runs an autonomous build system for your mobile apps. In plain terms:

  • We provision and pay for one private Linux server (your "VM") dedicated to you, and we run our build engine on it.
  • The engine drives AI coding agents that plan work, write code, test it, review it, and ship builds of your apps — using your own Claude access (see section 5).
  • The hosted dashboard lets you watch, approve, redirect, and stop that work from any device. Anything risky, expensive, or public-facing waits for your decision unless you have explicitly told the Service otherwise.
  • Android builds run on your VM. iOS builds and TestFlight submissions run through Expo's build service on your own Expo account.

The Service is a tool that operates on your behalf. You remain the developer and publisher of your apps.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The Service is for business and professional use, not consumer use.

You sign in with a passkey. You are responsible for the devices and passkeys you register, for everyone you invite into your organisation, and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly at the address in section 15 if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Plans and pricing

We offer two plans, each priced by how many apps you run:

AppsBasicPremium
1 app$79 / month$249 / month
Up to 3 apps$149 / month$349 / month
Up to 6 apps$249 / month$499 / month
Each app beyond 6+$40 / month+$60 / month

All prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes. Annual billing is available at the price of ten months for a year.

Basic is the software: the dashboard, your VM, the engine, and the agents.

Premium is Basic plus personal attention from Rikuvo's founder: they watch your fleet daily, send you a short weekly note on what shipped and what needs you, and reply to your questions within one business day. Premium is limited to a small number of customers at any time. We may stop offering it to new customers, but an existing Premium subscription continues until you cancel it.

Members. Every plan includes up to 5 members in your organisation (you plus four people you invite, each with the access you choose) at no extra charge. We do not charge per seat. If you need more, ask us; a larger team may need a team plan we agree with you.

Your app count is the number of apps registered in your dashboard. When you add an app that moves you into a higher tier, we charge the difference for the rest of your billing period and the new price from the next one. When you remove apps, the lower price applies from your next billing period.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A price change never applies to a billing period you have already paid for.

4. Billing, refunds and cancellation

Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe. We do not store your card number; Stripe does.

No free trial. 14-day money-back guarantee. If Rikuvo Studio is not for you, tell us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. This applies once, to your first subscription. After that, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

You can cancel at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have paid for; you keep access until then. We do not refund unused time after the 14-day window.

If a payment fails, we will retry and email you. If we cannot collect within 7 days, your dashboard becomes read-only and the engine stops working on your apps until payment succeeds. If we cannot collect within 30 days, we may cancel your subscription and treat it as terminated under section 12.

5. Bring your own Claude

The AI agents run on Anthropic's Claude Code. You provide the Claude access they use, in one of two ways:

  • Sign in with your Claude subscription. Claude Code on your VM is the unmodified official tool; you sign in to it with your own Claude Pro or Max subscription. Your usage counts against your subscription's limits and is governed by your agreement with Anthropic.
  • Paste an API key. You give us an Anthropic API key from your own Anthropic account. It is stored only on your VM and used only by the engine there. Anthropic bills the usage to you directly.

Either way:

  • Rikuvo never pays for, resells, marks up, or intermediates your Claude usage. There is no AI charge from us, and we do not act as your Anthropic account.
  • Rikuvo never collects, stores, or reads your Claude.ai login credentials or session tokens. The sign-in happens between you and Anthropic.
  • You are responsible for complying with Anthropic's terms. If Anthropic suspends or rate-limits your access, the engine pauses until it is restored; that is not a fault in the Service.
  • If Anthropic changes what its terms allow, we may need to change how the Service connects to Claude. We will tell you before that happens.

6. What else you bring

To ship real builds, you connect your own accounts and keep them in good standing:

  • an Apple Developer account (for iOS builds and TestFlight),
  • a Google Play developer account (for Android testing tracks),
  • an Expo account (for iOS builds; Expo's free tier includes a monthly build allowance, and Expo bills you directly for anything beyond it),
  • and the source code of any existing app you want the Service to work on, with the right to let us and the agents modify it.

Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. Rikuvo does not control them, does not guarantee that Apple or Google will approve any build, and is not responsible for their fees, outages or decisions.

7. Your code, your apps, your content

You own your apps, your code, your designs, your data, and everything you put into the Service ("Your Content"). You also own the code, tickets, builds, artwork and other output the agents produce for you ("Output"), to the extent we can grant that, and subject to the licences of any open-source or third-party components the Output uses.

You grant us a limited licence to host, copy, process and transmit Your Content and Output only as needed to operate the Service for you and to provide support. We claim no other rights in it.

AI-generated code and content can be wrong, insecure, or similar to what others receive. The dashboard exists so you can review the work. You are responsible for what you ship to app stores and to your users, including its legality, its safety, and its compliance with store policies.

You can take your code with you at any time: your repositories are ordinary git repositories, and the dashboard lets you export them.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • build or distribute anything illegal, deceptive, malicious, or that infringes someone else's rights;
  • build malware, spyware, or anything designed to harm users, devices or networks;
  • violate Anthropic's, Apple's, Google's, Expo's or any other provider's terms, or use the Service to get around their limits;
  • share a single subscription across unrelated businesses, or resell access to the Service;
  • run workloads on your VM unrelated to building your apps (for example crypto-mining, proxies, or hosting other services);
  • probe, scan, or attack the Service, other customers' servers, or our infrastructure;
  • reverse-engineer, copy, or extract the engine or any part of the Service that is not made available to you as open source.

We may suspend the Service immediately if we believe you are doing any of these, and will tell you why.

9. Your VM and our access to it

Your VM is dedicated to you and is not shared with other customers. It accepts no inbound connections from the internet; it only talks outward to the hosted dashboard.

We operate the VM for you: we install and update the engine, monitor its health, and restart it when needed. Our staff (today, the founder) may access your VM's engine logs and state to support you or to fix an outage. We will not read Your Content beyond what is needed for that, and we will tell you when we have had to.

Server capacity is sized for your plan tier. If your usage routinely exceeds it, we will talk to you about a higher tier rather than throttling you silently.

10. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise any specific uptime. We may take the Service down briefly for maintenance and will try to do so at quiet times. Features marked as beta or preview may change or be withdrawn.

Support for Basic is by email, and we answer as fast as we reasonably can. Support for Premium is described in section 3.

11. Changes to the Service

We improve the Service continuously and may add, change, or remove features. If we remove something material to your use, we will give you reasonable notice. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give you at least 60 days' notice, keep your export available for that time, and refund any prepaid period beyond the shutdown date.

12. Termination

You may end your subscription at any time (section 4). We may end it on 30 days' notice for any reason, or immediately if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if a third party we depend on (for example Anthropic or our hosting provider) makes it impossible for us to lawfully provide the Service to you.

When your subscription ends:

  • your dashboard becomes read-only immediately;
  • for 14 days you can export your repositories and data from the dashboard;
  • after that we destroy your VM and delete Your Content and Output from our systems, except for backups (which expire on their own schedule, see the Privacy Policy) and records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Sections 7, 13, 14 and 15 survive termination.

13. Disclaimers and limits on liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the Service or the Output will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Rikuvo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost business, arising from the Service, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in those 12 months.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places our liability is limited to the smallest extent allowed.

You agree to defend and indemnify Rikuvo against claims by third parties arising from your apps, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms or a third-party provider's terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any legal claim, you agree to email us and give us 30 days to resolve the problem informally. Any claim that cannot be resolved that way will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Rhode Island, and both of us consent to their jurisdiction.

16. Other terms

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. We may update these Terms; if the change is material we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept it. You may not transfer your subscription without our consent; we may transfer this agreement to a successor of the business.
